It's UPHS Band Hoagie Sale time!!!!!

Band students will be selling hoagies for the next 4 months.  Delivery dates are the second Saturday of the month:  December 13, January 10, February 14 and March 14.

Students receive $1.50 for each hoagie that they sell.  This is a great opportunity for them to earn money toward their trip to Orlando.

Orders must in 1 week before the sale. Students can hand in the 'hoagie order return sheet' at school on Friday, 1 week before delivery, or you can call or email the order to Susan Landis. Susan will call or email you to confirm that she has received your order.

Please note that the cost of the hoagies has gone up this year to $5.50 each for either Italian or Ham. Hot peppers on the side are still free for the customer, but do cost us, so ask your customers if they want them or not.  Thanks!

About Band Boosters

Contributing to the many needs of the high school band is a group of about 30 volunteers who do chores that range from selling hoagies to driving the truck filled with band equipment. The Band Boosters include not only the parents of current band members but also parents of children who have graduated. The Band Boosters raise money to provide things that help make the band an excellent organization and one that instills great pride in its members.

Over the years, the group has given scholarships to students who are continuing their music education in college. Band Boosters also purchase equipment such as instruments, flags and uniforms.

Band Boosters meet on the third Tuesday of the month, at 7 p.m. in the Band Room at the Upper Perkiomen High School.

MISSION STATEMENT

To ensure the highest quality musical education for our children (K-12) so that the program may be continually improving, allowing each student to maximize their individual potential. Our objectives will be to address critical needs, promoting a close relationship among parents, staff, administration, the community, and the students at all grade levels.

FAME also seeks to serve as an umbrella organization and information clearinghouse for all the music groups and band and choral supporters in the Upper Perkiomen elementary, middle and high school.
