The Choral Fund Society has changed its name to reflect its changing mission; the group will now be known as the Choir Orchestra Boosters.

October Choir and Orchestra Boosters Meeting Changed to October 30th - 7 p.m.

Due to the October 21st Superintendent Forum at the Education Center, the Choir and Orchestra Boosters have decided to postphone their monthly meeting. The group will meet at 7 p.m. at the Upper Perk High School (in a classroom near the Band Room) on Thursday, October 30, 2014.

About Choir Orchestra Boosters

The Choir/Orchestra Boosters gives valuable assistance supporting the activities of the A-Choir, Women's Choir, Uptones and the UPHS Orchestra at the Upper Perkiomen Valley High School. Over the years, members have purchased choir robes and music, the choral shell and risers, and provided part of the funds for a piano and for choir trips.

The Choir/Orchestra Boosters gives a scholarship annually to a student majoring in choral music or a related field.

The group meets on the third Tuesday of the month, at 7 p.m. in a classroom near the band room at the Upper Perkiomen High School.

MISSION STATEMENT

To ensure the highest quality musical education for our children (K-12) so that the program may be continually improving, allowing each student to maximize their individual potential. Our objectives will be to address critical needs, promoting a close relationship among parents, staff, administration, the community, and the students at all grade levels.

FAME also seeks to serve as an umbrella organization and information clearinghouse for all the music groups and band and choral supporters in the Upper Perkiomen elementary, middle and high school.
